Description
The NHB-150H is a heating-only boiler: it supplies hot water to a hydronic system such as baseboard, panel radiators or radiant floor tubing, and it does not make domestic hot water by itself. The cabinet is under 24 inches tall, so it suits a utility closet or basement wall where a floor-standing cast iron boiler used to sit.
Input modulates from 10,000 to 150,000 BTU per hour, a 15:1 turndown, so on mild days it can run long and low instead of cycling on and off. It is the largest model in the NHB-H range, for larger homes or multi-zone systems. It is rated at 95% AFUE with stainless steel primary and secondary heat exchangers. Built-in wiring handles three zone valves, three zone pumps, or two zone pumps plus a pump for an indirect water heater, and it vents in 2-inch PVC up to 65 feet or 3-inch up to 150 feet.
This is a gas appliance. It has to be installed by a licensed plumbing or heating professional, following Navien’s installation manual and your local codes for gas supply, venting and condensate drainage. Please confirm sizing and fuel type with your installer before you order.
