Description

A wall mirror framed in woven rattan, with a softly curved arch to the top that takes the hard edge off a square wall.

The rattan is wrapped and bound by hand around the frame, so the texture is genuinely three-dimensional. It catches side light and throws a fine shadow, which is what stops it reading as flat decoration. At 50 by 80 cm it is a useful size rather than a token one: tall enough to check an outfit in, narrow enough for a hallway, a small bathroom, or the space beside a bedroom door. Glass on an MDF and plywood backing.
