Description
A freestanding lamp built around a wide woven rattan shade, which filters the bulb into a warm, textured pool of light rather than throwing it flat across a room.
The weave is open enough to read as handmade. You can see the individual canes and the slight irregularity where they cross, and it sits on a slim iron and rubberwood stand that keeps the visual weight up high. At 160 cm it stands taller than most armchairs, so it lights a reading seat from above and behind, and its 40 cm shade gives it enough presence to anchor an empty corner. Takes a standard E27 bulb up to 40W.
